Accomplished poets, seasoned and beginning, share via a round table discussion how they have used their craft over time to resist discrimination and fight racism. A variety of genres will be featured, including Spoken Word, Hip Hop, and Rap. Selected poets will be invited to perform their work.
Panelists will include Dr. Judy Moore Latta, Retired, Howard University; Tony Medina, Howard University; Shauna M. Morgan, University Kentucky; Frank X. Walker, University Kentucky.
