SWNA Annual Black History Month Program

The 2024 program theme is “African Americans and the Arts”. Spanning the many impacts Black Americans have had on visual arts, music, cultural movements and more.

SWNA [Southwest Neighborhood Assembly] is an all-volunteer organization who improves the quality of life for all residents; to open to every resident the wide cultural horizon of urban living; to help create rich and equal social, educational and economic opportunities for residents of Southwest DC | Arena Stage is the voice of American theater resident in our nation’s capital.
