Looking for volunteers for the 51st DC History Conference!

Our conference this year marks the 51st DC History Conference! It is taking place on April 3 – 6, 2025; with some sessions happening at the DC History Center’s home at the Carnegie Library (Thursday), though most of the sessions will take place at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library (Friday – Sunday).

The 51st DC History Conference is looking for volunteers. Conference volunteers enable us to create a welcoming environment for conference attendees throughout the full weekend. Will you consider joining as a volunteer for the 2025 DC History Conference?

This year, we are running the volunteer program a bit different. Volunteers will be asked to attend an orientation training session, and they will self-select their roles and time slots by the end of their training sessions.
