Mary Church Terrell was a founding member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and the first African-American woman in the US-appointed to a major city school board (DC). Learn more about this fascinating woman by screening the new documentary with Robin Hamilton, an Emmy-award winning journalist, television host, moderator and writer. The event will also include special guest Historian C.R. Gibbs.
