Aunt Betty & Fort Stevens

AuntBettyFlyer-Woodbridge2020-2

It was 1861, only blocks from my house, when Elizabeth Proctor Thomas’ farm was taken from her. It was replaced by a badly needed Union military fort that would defend Washington DC.

How Mrs. Thomas suffered, responded and is remembered is the story of this film and talk.
